Graham Cochrane

Every song is different. So every mix is different. When I mix your tracks I will approach them fresh, giving each musical element the treatment it deserves.

What Your Mix Will Get

  • An intentional listening session to take note of the strengths and weaknesses of the song
  • Proper gain staging for maximum headroom and clarity
  • Strategic EQ to help every track sit nicely in the mix
  • Tasteful compression to create energy and balance
  • Creative touches of reverb, delay, and other effects to enhance musicality

What Your Mix Will NOT Get

  • Pitch correction
  • Drum editing/tightening
  • Comping of multiple takes

Editing is a time consuming process that can make or break a mix. Unfortunately my time is limited and I prefer to spend what time and energy I do have on actually MIXING for you, not cleaning up and tuning tracks. Save yourself some money and make sure your tracks are edited and ready to go before you send them my way.

Your Feedback

I know for some people it’s hard to imagine handing over their life’s work to a stranger, potentially half way around the world and then expect them to deliver a great mix without any input. So let me ease your mind.

Every mix I do includes up to two rounds of revisions based on your feedback. I have discovered over the years that this three mix approach (my initial mix, plus two more revised mixes) is the perfect way to get your much needed input onto my mix. This works quickly and efficiently. In the end, everyone is happy.

Mixing Rates

I work on a per song flat rate model. This has worked very well for my clients over the past decade or so. With a flat rate you know before we even agree to work together exactly how much it will cost you to get your mixes done.

Standard Mixing Package – $450/song – Professional mixing | Up to two revisions | Delivery of high quality wave and MP3s

DIY Mixing Package – $700/song – Professional mixing | Up to two revisions | Delivery of high quality wave and MP3s | A custom, in depth video tutorial showing you exactly how I mixed your song including my workflow, plugin settings, challenges, and solutions. | The original Pro Tools session file I used to mix your song so you can copy my plugin settings to help you mix the rest of your songs!

You Get To Choose

The choice is yours. If you are simply in need of professional mixing for your upcoming single, EP, or album, go with the Standard Mixing Package. You’ll get great results with no fuss, no mess. Your tracks will thank you for it.

If on the other hand, you’re the type of person who wishes they could mix themselves, but isn’t quite confident enough yet to pull it off, then go with the DIY Mixing Package. Try it for just one song on your album. Pick your favorite track, your potential single, and let me mix it for you. Then I’ll create a custom hour+ long video tutorial showing you exactly what I did to get your mix to sound kicking!

You’ll then have a great sounding mix of your favorite track, plus the insider know-how to approach the rest of your album on your own. You’ll even get the original Pro Tools session I mixed with as a bonus to all you Pro Tools users. Just fire it open and copy my plugin settings to your other tracks to get a head start.
